Receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior

Plan of Salvation (The Gospel)

God is our Creator. He created us in His own image and likeness: 

"So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them." — Genesis 1:27 

Sin separated us from God. Sin entered the world through Adam and Eve: 

"For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous." — Romans 5:19 

We are all born in sin, separated from God and in need of a Savior: 

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." — Romans 3:23 

God is holy. He is the living God and loves sinners, but He hates sin, because sin leads to death: 

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." — Romans 6:23 

God’s love and the way back to Him. God loves us so much that He made a way for us to be reconciled to Him. He does not want us to be separated from Him; that is why He provided one way: Jesus Christ, His only Son, who died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins: 

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." — John 3:16 

Jesus is the only way to God. Jesus is the only bridge that can lead us back to God. 

Receiving Him as our Lord and Savior means accepting God’s plan for our lives. It means acknowledging that we are sinners and that we need Jesus to save us and restore our relationship with our Creator. 

"That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." "For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." — Romans 10:9-10 

Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Believe in your heart that Jesus is the Son of God and confess it with your mouth. Allow Him to be the Lord of your life. 

Pray this prayer: 

"Father God, I come to You. I need Jesus. Thank You for loving me. Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the cross for me. Jesus, thank You for paying the price for my sins. I accept You as my Lord and Savior. I surrender my life, my mind, and my heart to You. Thank You, Father. In Jesus' name, Amen."
